The idea was if you got 30 people in your band,
five would show up.
This album represents the artists and musicians who did.

As Pat Brayer put it, "This album is a snapshot... a medium for a photograph." I wanted to find the best people around that were available in the Inland Empire and put them all on one record.
Some are still here and some are gone, but in one 24-hour period, we got this work down on a record. Everybody did it for the freedom; every person did their best with no compromise.I threw them all together in a studio and said:
"Go...!" and they did it.

My greatest hope is that one day this album will have set a
standard; that if, in a sense, artists and musicians have faith in one another to get the job done... something much larger than ourselves will happen. ... more
