about

Studio sessions working on Jeff's material. Rough frameworks just he and I. I had written the guitar for 'Falling forward' for him, while hot springing up the west coast up to Vancouver Island. The other three came from the old egg house next to the his flat in Yucaipa. Used those minidisc ideas, translated them to these unfinished frameworks, than dropped the original ideas/ demos. Jay Pace was brought in to help move Jeff over to bass; add duel percussion. Thought it might be a solid production tool to revisit. Been talking with a lot of younger musicians about recording.
So I like this as a teaching tool...that and Jeff is just fun to write with.
Make sure your drums sound good...after that the rest is cake.

Listen and imagine what instruments and vocals to fill... what fun.

Every passing hour brings the Solar System forty-three thousand miles closer to Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules — and still there are some misfits who insist that there is no such thing as progress.-Kurt Vonnegut

Best mix performance on a good pair of headphones turned up loud while gazing up at the stars.

The art of life is multi- dimensional. This music is made by me and my friends. Avante!
